Pianist of great sensitivity, appreciated for his ecstatic and rarefied approach to musical matter, in the last 20 years Franco Piccinno has been active on the international music scene and has collaborated with many artists, including Famoudou Don Moyè, Gilad Atzmon, Francesco Bearzatti, Tullio De Piscopo, Fabrizio Bosso, Marc Ayza, Rainald Colom, Jojo Mayer, Giovanni Falzone, Adam Rudolph , Audun Waage, Bank Of No Land, Boris Kozlov, just to name a few.

In 1996 he was a finalist with his trio at the European Jazz Competition in Krakow. He made his recording debut in '98 with the Portuguese band Politonìa for the realization of the album "Lisboa", which also includes his original compositions. In 2000 he won the Baronissi National Jazz Competition as best pianist. He lived between London, Paris, Barcelona and Rome, constantly performing in Europe, establishing himself for his natural fluency and brilliant technique as an improviser and also performing concerts in the United States, Japan and South America.

As a leader he has released numerous solo piano albums and two trio albums, as well as recording collaborations with various artists and some electronic music productions.
nEUROSPRITZ
NEUROSpritz is an association that organizes themed evenings for the dissemination of neuroscience issues to a large audience in an entertaining and engaging way, with the aim of raising funds to help research against neuroscience, neurological and neurodegenerative diseases.
​
The theme of the evening, in line with the topics covered in the SIAMOC congress, will be Movement and Brain, a topic that will be treated lightly, but not superficially, by interacting with the public and also involving them in a game whose winner will receive a NeuroSpritz t-shirt.
